See the NOR for entry deadlines. Late entries will be accepted, with an late entry fee, again see NOR. Please refer to the Notice of Race for all relevant dates.

Why have I not received an automated entry form?
Preprinted entry forms were sent to past participants for whom the committee does not have an e-mail address. If you have not received one, Please see NOR page for application details.

Have the courses changed for Columbus Day Regatta This Year?
No. Courses remain the same as for last year. The finish line for Saturday's race and starting line for Sunday's race have been moved to the vicinity approximately 0.5 nm Northeast of Y (Government mark, Fl R 4s 16 ft 4M "2" Black Ledge).

What is the difference between the ARC and Gunkhole classes?
The Assigned Rating Class (ARC) races courses with mark roundings. The Gunkhole class races a course from start to finish with no mark intermediate mark roundings. Reaching and running sails (spinnaker, 2nd jib or genoa on one pole downwind, drifter, blooper, and so forth) may be used in the ARC class if they are declared on the entry form. These sails are not allowed in the Gunkhole class.

Where can I launch my boat?
The Dinner Key Boat Ramp is about half a mile to the south of Coral Reef Yacht Club, just north of the Coconut Grove Sailing Club. Limited metered parking is available. Another option is Matheson Hammock Marina, a county facility about four (4) miles to the south of Coconut Grove. It is much larger and has plenty of parking. There is a $10 entry fee to the park. Crandon Marina Boat Ramps on Key Biscayne is another possibility.

Where can I find a a transient slip, dockage or a mooring?
If you need dockage or a mooring, be sure to make arrangements in advance.

The Coconut Grove Sailing Club, about half a mile to the south, is likely to have a guest mooring available. They have launch service and showers. You can contact the Dock Master's office at 305 444-4571, extension 10. VHF Channel 78.

Call Dock Master Tony Walker at 305-858-1733 to inquire about a slip at Coral Reef Yacht Club. VHF Channel 71.

Dinner Key Marina and Marine Stadium Marina are additional possibilities.
